Two-Face threatens to shoot Lev Carmichael, whose gang has been at war with his, unless a captured Batman agrees to play "Gotham Roulette." After a few rounds, Batman points out that by giving him a choice at the start, Two-Face invalidated his own claim of chance. To make up for it, Two-Face offers Carmichael a similar choice, and Carmichael tells him to shoot Batman. When he fires, the gun backfires and knocks him out.
