After the relief of reverting back to their human form, the Tibetan expedition team go to Carter Hall's extraterrestrial treasure exhibition. When the exhibition was over, the expedition team bid farewell to the night watchman Winston. All of a sudden, the mummies from the Egyptian wing rose up from their sarchophigies and strangled Winston. Hawkman and Hawkgirl hear Winston's final cries for help before he falls to the floor dead. Hawkman and Hawkgirl destroy the mummies. Hawkgirl suspects that Thasaro's presence at the museum may have reanimated the mummies.
