The Legion resumed ongoing publication of the Legionnaires. It was cancelled in 2004, when Teen Titans/The Legion Special #1 rebooted the franchise, and created a third and entirely separate Legion of Super-Heroes. Cancellation of The Legion was followed by a new series, Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 5).
